Great patio atmosphere, friendly staff and awesome food.
Food wasn’t terrible but not worth the 50 minute wait. Then they overcharged my debit card and has to make 5 calls to get it reversed. Won’t be back.
Great service!!!! The bartender was friendly and helpful and shared a few laughs with us.And then shift change came and we were ignored and then told to wait for a towel by the new shift until he got things situated to his liking. When the bartender finally did help the woman next to me, he asked her how her drink was made...I didn't stay much longer after the new shift started.
Great selection of craft beers and food. I had the pot roast sandwich, tender and delicious! I will be back!
Love the food at Stone’s Throw, never disappointed. The drinks are good and the staff is very friendly. The atmosphere is lively and inviting.
Great food, a nice variety of Craft Beer, and a knowledgeable staff!
We love this place. Their homemade chips are awesome. You have to try the nachos. Delicious!
We waited 40 minutes for our appetizers and they were cold. The service wasn't good at all and we ended up having to cancel our food because it took so long. However, I do think that they're usually probably pretty good. They have a nice, diverse menu. I think they were understaffed because the college kids were out on break.
Wheelchair accessible but did not use the restroom so can't tell ya that is or not. Great food good service
The draft list is great, the food is on point, and the atmosphere is exactly what I'm looking for in a night out with friends. I make it a point to visit every time we find ourselves back in BG!
A little pricey, but I love this place so much! The food is great, service is timely, and the drinks are always good. Big fan of the crab spinach artichoke dip- order it every time I go. Hoping to go again soon!
The pasties was tasty and the shepherd's pie was yummy according to my husband who didn't share.
Good spot to grab some lunch or dinner. I had the grilled chicken burger and it was good. Meat was bit dry but veggies were fresh and the bun was nicely toasted. wait times are high so If your in a rush try to avoid this place. staff was attentive and place got a relaxing vibe to it. Large selection of beers. Fish and chips were delicious. Reuben was very good. Clam chowder, on recommendation, was a bowl of clams, one little piece of potato and no broth. Flavor was good but I would have liked chowder. Good atmosphere, very spacious.
Great selection of drinks and the greatest staff in the world!
Gets busy but not much to complain about besides. I'm apparently not a huge fan of Irish food so their menu largely does not appeal to me. But it's prepared decently and the bars are nice.
Loved everything about this place. Keep up the awesome work 💪!
They need a wait staff. Have to go to the bar for anything. Other than that. A great place.
Loved the pot roast sandwich!! Good sized portions!!Pretty long wait to be served tho.
Food was excellent and service was fast and friendly. The atmosphere is really great there too
They had a awsome entertainer there last nite nov. 9 uncle Monty was his stage name
I enjoy going for drinks and the hummus app, but not a lot of vegetarian/pescatarian dinner options. Would appreciate a few more healthy options. I liked the quinoa bowl— more options like that would be great.
Live music and beef stew soooooo goodHumpday revue on Wednesday 8pm excellent
Friendly, tasty authentic Irish food, nice patio. Beautiful ambiance inside with rustic stonework.
I have come her several times the food is good but it takes forever! Recently we when it wasn't super busy and the food took over an hour to come out! And we ordered simple food. Very disappointed but the server was apologetic.
Atmosphere, food, drinks. All creative and delicious. Love that they have some pasties! And that they pour beers in the correct glasses. Great service too.
The Clam Chowder is truly amazing!I bought a second bowl to go!Nice beer selection too.
Really great food and menu! So hard to decide what to get, I wanted to try it all.
[ me ]I've been stopping here lately for carry-out food![ you ]"But it's an Irish bar!"[ me again! ]I know, I know - but The Stones Throw has one of the few kitchens that serve food till 11 PM, which is a big deal in a lil'city! So, while I wait for my Jameson BBQ Pulled Pork Salad, I sip on a Blue Moon Belgian draft and gnosh on an order of deep-fried Reuben Bites!BTW: This Tavern has 2 sides! The parking lot entrance is where the Host is stationed. It has lots of table seating (perfect for groups!) and the bar is in the center. The sidewalk entrance leads you towards the main bar, and this is where the action happens! #Local live music, Trivia Nights, pool tables and skeeball! And there are plenty of seats at the bar if all the tables on this side are full!On a sunny day, check out their spacious patio! On a chill night, play a round of Giant Jenga with your #besties!
Great sit down restaurant. Chris is an amazing bartender and hires a great staff!
Been going here for years and it’s still as great as ever! Lots of drink and food options
First visit - very poor impression. Couldn't believe it! Arrived around 5:00 p.m. and selected my meal and was told they ran out (that early in the evening? Come on!) Made an alternate selection and when our meals arrived no silverware! Had to chase down the (it appeared the only) waitress to request utensils and napkins. When she finally brought them she stated they ran out and left it at that. Food was ok but service was not. Seems they're understaffed and if that is the case, management should be working the floor and washing dishes. Won't go back.
This is a nice Irish bar with a wide beer selection. The food was very good and reasonably priced. I had the pulled pork and other members had the fish and chips. All the food was well prepared and tasty. I took off one star for not being able to sample a beer prior to purchase but they do offer a sample which is 5 oz for 3$ less than beer price.I recommend trying this place for yourself.
I have been going here for a while now and the craft beer selection is superb. The food is good as well. Over all, the Irish pub style has a certain charm about it and the staff is very friendly.
They have the absolute best Reubens in town. The beer selection is wonderful. All the food is amazing. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. They play awesome music. It's loud enough to be bar, but quiet enough to have a nice date. The bar tops and table tops are beautiful. Every time we go I am reminded of how much I love everything about this place. The only downside I can think of, the parking lot is tiny. We usually park on street or in a city parking lot. But worth it!
Good food, great service, a little higher price but you get what you pay for, great beer selection
The insides look way nicer than the outsides, so don't drive by. Very nice Irish Pub style restaurant, with a good selection of beers, and both Irish and American food. There's a big bar, with tvs for watching the games, and booth and table seating. And they have a dog-friendly patio.
Patio fish and chips to help make BG Great Again! Nice bar, will go back!
Took A long time to get our food. Food and service was great.
Nice atmosphere and patio, but quite disappointed in the changes/deletions from the menu over the past year or so. Quality of food has also gone downhill as of late. Was a much more desireable place to eat at when it first opened.
Delicious food and drinks! Perfect patio, too!
Good craft beer selection and food. Had the black bean burger in a wrap with chips (freshly made) pub fries and chicken tenders. All the food was hot and well made.
We went for a late dinner. Ordered a simple classic meat pie also a Shepard pie. After waiting 50 min for my meal the potato’s were cold. At the time there were only 10 customers in the place. This is my third time at Stones Throw. As I recall the service was slow, not sure how organized the kitchen is.
Great place for authentic Irish fair, food is very very good , great beer and whiskey menu, wine menu is average, fun out door seating for people watching.
Favorite place to go for a good beer. Very nice selection, and the food is really good.
Not busy, but waited a long time for sandwiches. Food was good but wasn’t much in the mood to eat once we saw the mouse droppings behind us on the window ledge. ☹️Server was nice. I informed the hostess when we left that they may want to clean around the windows more often and why. I can’t give this one another chance....nice atmosphere with all the wood and barrels also. Too bad.
Food is bad, and the drinks are even worse. Lots of trendy grad school kids think it’s great, though.
The Reuben is the best by far... And those kettle chips, must take an order to go!
Food is great! Service amazing! Very good portions and taste isn’t compromised. Ambience is wonderful. Definitely would come back.
The hostess was looking straight down at her phone for a solid 2 minutes while I stood at her stand. Then waited an hour at a table of 2 for one appetizer and a rice bowl. Really disappointed in the food side, but bar side is always good.
